However, if you’ll ask us we would recommend you pick a light and mild cleanser that is free from all the harmful chemicals.
Clean the face with mild cleanser and cold water. The cold water will tighten the pores and also calms down the skin.

Step 2- Use Chemical Exfoliator

After patting your face dry the next step is to use a chemical exfoliator. Now, if you’re a beginner to a chemical exfoliator, you need to read this out.
A chemical exfoliator is a process that works on the skin by going to the deep layers of the skin. Unlike, physical exfoliation this is suited even for acne-prone and sensitive skin. The process not only removes dead skin but also treats the underlying cause of various skin issues. However, before using it make sure you do a patch test first and see if it works for you.
Make sure you follow the instructions mentioned on the product carefully and use it not more than twice a week. There are various types of chemical exfoliator chose the one that works best for your skin type.

Types Of Chemical Exfoliator-

• AHA-Glycolic Acid and lactic acid (great for sensitive and dry skin)
• BHA-salicylic acid (great for acne-prone and oily skin)
• AHA/BHA- some products have both. So, if you have problematic skin, go for AHA/BHA.

Step 3- Hydrate Your Skin

After keeping the chemical exfoliator for about 10 minutes rinse your face with cold water and rub an ice cube to calm the skin. When you chemically exfoliate your skin, you experience red and itchy skin and thus ice is a must.
Once, you have rubbed an ice cube; use any sheet mask to hydrate your skin. Exfoliation can dry out the skin and thus it’s really important to hydrate your skin.
Use any hydrating sheet mask such as Aloe Vera sheet mask or hyaluronic sheet mask after chemically exfoliating your skin.

Step 4- Massage The Skin

Last but not least is the step that makes sure everything you used on your skin goes deep inside. After keeping the sheet mask for about 15 minutes remove it. And, use a jade roller or Gua sha tool to massage the skin and let the serum (left after removing the sheet mask) sink into the skin. Make sure you are gentle while using the Gua sha tool.
